SimpleWhitelist
by an1by
With SimpleWhitelist, a server owner limits who can join by keeping a list of player nicknames, and the list is managed with the swl command.
What it does
The mod gives a private server a simple whitelist system. Only nicknames stored in the list can connect, which removes the need to hand-edit the vanilla whitelist file. An admin turns the list on with the swl enable command, and the mod can switch off Minecraft's own whitelist server.properties setting (white-list=false) so the two do not conflict. Messages shown to rejected players can be customized.
The jar goes into the plugins folder on server platforms or the mods folder on mod loaders, then the server is started. Fabric API is required on Fabric. LuckPerms is an optional dependency. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and for Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Folia, Velocity, BungeeCord and Waterfall, across 47 release versions, 1.8.8 – 1.21.11. Snapshot builds are published as well. The code is under the MIT License and is open source.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Server owners who want a simple, invite-only player list without editing the vanilla whitelist file by hand. Players only need to be on the list; they do not install the mod to join.
