Simple Trade Mod lets two players exchange items through a 3x3 trade window, with each side's offer locked before the trade completes.

What it does

A player starts a trade with the trade request command, and the partner's grid appears beside their own. Each player places items in their 3x3 grid. Confirming locks an offer, and a locked offer is protected from changes until the trade is resolved or aborted. When both partners confirm, the items are exchanged and the screen closes. The mod is published for Fabric only, with a single build for 1.19.2, and it is open source under the MIT License.
