Simple End Disable

by Infinidoge

Simple End Disable is a Quilt server mod that blocks travel into the End dimension through its portals.

QuiltServer-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.19.2 – 1.21.1

What it does

Players who step into an End portal are stopped from entering the dimension, and teleporting entities pass through instead, with a player message shown in their place. The behavior is applied by the server, so single-player worlds and multiplayer clients need no change; a client-side setting already disables the End there. The code is adapted from the progression project by ClemsonJames and uses Mixin hooks. Files are published for Quilt only, for 1.19.2 – 1.21.1, and the license is the MIT License, which makes the project open source.

Key features

  1. Portal blocking

Entering an End portal is prevented, so the dimension stays closed on the server.

  2. Entity pass-through

Teleporting entities go through the portal instead of arriving in the End, with a message shown to the player.

  3. Config and commands

Options and commands control the behavior, and the mod can be removed to re-enable the End.

What the author says

Disables the End. That's it. No config options, no commands. Does so by just not teleporting entities that go through it, and instead showing the player a message. Currently the message does not support translation, though if I have time to add it in, I will eventually do so.
