Restful Hellscape lets players sleep in dimensions where beds would normally explode, without the usual benefits such as setting a spawn point.

What it does

A bed placed in a dimension that ordinarily makes it explode can be slept in here. The sleep works, but it grants none of the side effects that normal sleep brings, so a spawn point is not set. The mod is a server-side only addition for Quilt, released under the MIT License as open source, and files cover 1.19.2 – 1.21.1.

Key features

  1. Sleep in hostile dimensions

    Beds that would explode in certain dimensions can be used for sleeping, so the Nether and End stop being off limits for rest.

  2. No spawn point change

    Sleeping in these dimensions does not set a respawn point, which keeps the spawn behavior of the vanilla game.

  3. Server-side install

    Only the server needs the mod, so players join without installing it on their own game.
