Sight's Vanilla Expanded
by sightmods
Sight's Vanilla Expanded adds stairs, slabs and walls for more than 90 vanilla blocks, along with a set of new blocks and a charred oak wood set.
What it does
Sight's Vanilla Expanded aims to add new content to vanilla Minecraft while keeping the existing blocks and mechanics in place. Its main additions are stairs, slabs and walls for over 90 vanilla blocks, so builders can craft matching variants of stone-like blocks such as andesite, calcite, dripstone, granite and packed mud. Cut versions of iron, gold, diamond and netherite blocks are included, and a charcoal block can be crafted.
The mod also adds a charred oak wood set, a rainbow block set, and a weak block that breaks when a player interacts with it or steps on it. Some of its blocks can be obtained by smelting regular planks. The mod is published for NeoForge only, for the 1.21.1 – 26.1.2 range, and it runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. The author notes that a MCreator option may be added later.

Use cases
Building with more block variants
Builders who need stairs, slabs and walls in stone and deepslate-style blocks can use the variants to finish rooms and facades.
Decorating with cut metals
Cut iron, gold, diamond and netherite blocks give bases a decorative look that vanilla does not provide.
Who it’s for: Builders and survival players who want more decorative blocks in vanilla style. Server owners who run NeoForge can install it for all players at once.
