Sightless brings a horror presence into the world, and when its events fire, players are sent into hiding, running, or losing their sanity.
What it does
The Forge mod for 1.20.1 adds a new hostile entity that appears during horror events lasting roughly five to six minutes. Players exploring the world should stay alert, since an encounter can leave them feeling watched. Trying to drive the presence away tends to make the player act erratically. Sightless runs server-side only, so players join without installing anything. It is released under the Apache License 2.0 and is not open source.

Sanity mechanic
Keeping pills stored far from the player causes paranoia and drains sanity over time, while the current sanity level can be checked in chat.

Events can be triggered by command, and the level of sanity is written to chat for server owners and players.
