ShowerCore adds functional shower heads that grant buffs to players who stand under running water, plus bathtubs and related bathroom decorations.
What it does
Shower heads take swappable cores. Right-clicking a shower head while holding a Shower Core item seats the core in it, and any core already there is ejected onto the ground. Sneaking while right-clicking with an empty hand removes it, and right-clicking again turns the head off. Each core grants a different buff while the head runs.
Standing under running water gives continuous buffs, and the effects stack the longer the player stays. Hot fluids are added by right-clicking with a water or lava bucket, which brings magical effects and visible steam particles. The mod fits survival play and hygiene-themed builds, and it adds bathtubs that can be reskinned to match a room.
Requirements: specific frame blocks must be placed around a shower head before it activates. The mod runs on Forge and NeoForge, and it is released under the Apache License 2.0 and is open source. Its official extension, Hot-bath Mod, works alongside it.
