showefps is a Fabric client mod that shows the frames-per-second counter on screen, toggled with the Page Up key.
What it does
Once installed, the mod displays the current frames per second in the game window. A player who wants to hide or show the counter presses the Page Up key, which makes it a quick toggle rather than a settings screen. Nothing needs to be changed in the options menu to use the basic display.
Only the client needs the mod, so servers run without it and players join without installing anything. It is published for Fabric only, in a single build for 1.21.11, and the code is under the MIT License, but the project is not open source. Among the 11061 Utility mods with Fabric files for 1.21.11, this is one of the simplest counters to install.
