SHFA
by Rysie1024
SHFA gives the hitboxes of thin and partial blocks a full cube shape, so building next to them is less error-prone.
What it does
Some blocks have thin or partial hitboxes, which makes placing another block beside them hard to aim. SHFA gives these blocks full cube hitboxes, so a player aiming at them hits the expected block. The mod is aimed at builders who work with many of these blocks and misplace them often.
A key binding, set to H by default and changeable in the Controls settings, toggles between the small vanilla hitboxes and the full cube hitboxes. The mod's config screen lists which blocks and tags are affected by SHFA, and it is reachable through Mod Menu, which is needed to open that screen. The config screen can be used to adjust the affected set, and it is the place to check the list. Mod Menu is optional, so players can still use the key binding without it. The mod is client-side only, so servers do not need it; it is open source under the MIT License and developed by Rysie1024.
Files are published for Fabric and Forge, with 1.0.5 for 1.20.4 as the latest build. Missing blocks can be reported on the GitHub issue tracker.

What the author says
This mod aims to make building a lot easier by making the hitboxes of glass panes, iron bars, and chains the same. No more misplacing blocks! This mod adds a key binding (by default H, but it can be configured in Controls settings), which when pressed, will toggle between small vanilla hitboxes and full cube hitboxes.
