Shershavy

by Bobophones

Shershavy is a Forge world generation mod that adds a large set of new content, including mobs, structures, magic and vehicles.

ForgeClient and serverCreative Commons Attribution Non Commercial 4.01.20 – 1.20.6

What it does

Shershavy generates a range of new structures: a sugar castle, an underground basalt village with skeleton inhabitants, and a mage's house built under a large mushroom. Players can find these while exploring, and the structures sit alongside vanilla terrain without replacing it.

The mod also changes how players progress. A character can become a mage, learn spells from items found in dungeons, buy research at a magic table, or take up engineering and build an anti-aircraft system and vehicles, of which a tractor is the only one listed. Mobs, decorative and functional blocks, and several other mechanics round out the content. Shershavy runs on Forge only, in client and server environment, and is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial 4.0 license, so it is not open source. Its files cover 1.20 – 1.20.6.

Key features

  1. Underground basalt village

An inhabited village carved from basalt, with skeletons living among its buildings.

  2. Sugar castle and mage house

Two generated structures, a castle made of sugar and a house where a mage settled beneath a large mushroom.

  3. Magic progression

Spells are found in dungeons, researched at a magic table, and cast after the character becomes a mage.

  4. Engineering and vehicles

The character can become an engineer and build an anti-aircraft system and vehicles, the tractor being the one named by the author.

Use cases

Exploring new world content

Players who want new structures and creatures to find in a world can explore the castle, the basalt village and the mage's house.

Adding a magic path

Players can follow a magic route, collecting spells and researching them at a table, alongside vanilla play.

Who it’s for: Players who want a broad mix of structures, mobs and mechanics on Forge. Server owners add it to a server that other players join with the same mod installed.
