Set Home Anywhere
by Itamio
Set Home Anywhere lets a player save the current position, facing direction and a name as a home, then return to it later with a short command.
What it does
A player types sethome in the spot to be saved, and the mod stores the position and heading under that name, linked to the player who set it. Homes are listed with a list command and removed with delhome once no longer needed. Homes stay private, so one player cannot list, use or delete another player's homes.
The mod works in single player and on servers, and it needs no operator rights, so ordinary players can manage their own homes. Home data is written to disk in the world or server folder and reloaded at startup, so homes survive a restart. Each player gets unlimited homes by default, and a generated config file lets a server owner set a per-player limit. Environment: server-side only, so only the server needs the mod and players join without installing it. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source.
Key features
Save a home by name
The sethome command stores the current location under a chosen name for the player who typed it.
Full direction saving
A teleport to a home restores the exact direction the player was facing when the home was set.
Persistent storage
Homes are written to disk and reloaded after the world or server closes, so they are not lost on restart.
Per-player home limit
Homes are unlimited by default, and the generated config file sets a limit for each player.
Private homes
Each player can list and delete only their own homes, with no operator rights required.

Players keep several bases or meeting points on a server without relying on operators for every trip.
Single-player survival
A player marks a mining site, a farm and a shelter, then returns to each one by name.
Who it’s for: Server owners who want players to manage their own homes, and single-player players who build in several places.
