Seed Bag is a NeoForge storage mod that adds a bag for collecting crop seeds, and a player can craft it from a vanilla Bundle and seeds.
What it does
Farmers who grow many crop types often run short of inventory space for seeds. Seed Bag gives them one container for seeds, and it works in a similar way to the vanilla Bundle: a player can take seeds out by clicking a free slot while holding the bag, or store seeds by clicking them while holding the bag.
The bag can be obtained in two ways: by combining a vanilla Bundle with seeds in the crafting grid, or through the transformation method that uses the same grid. The mod also collects seeds automatically, which can increase farming efficiency. Seed Bag runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is published for NeoForge 1.21 – 1.21.11 across 12 release versions, with 1.0.0 for 1.21.11 as the latest file, and is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0 license, so it is not open source.
Key features
Storage for many seed types
One bag holds up to 512 seeds, so a farm with many crop types does not fill the inventory with seed stacks.
Bundle-style handling
Seeds move in and out of the bag by clicking, following the same pattern as the vanilla Bundle.
Automatic seed pickup
Seeds picked up during farming are stored inside the bag automatically instead of taking separate inventory slots.
Crafting recipe
The bag is crafted in a grid with leather and string, or made by combining a vanilla Bundle with seeds.
