SANDCORE classic
by emretmekvar
SANDCORE classic turns the desert into a world-generation layer, with sand terrain across the overworld and a small set of structures to find.
What it does
Desert terrain is placed across generated worlds, so sandy biomes appear where a player would otherwise find other ground. The structures are limited to a few essential ones, and the mod is built for a hardcore run in which death is final. A player who wants to beat the game can follow the desert layout toward the end.
Finding the spawner rooms, structures and chests is easier with the F3 debug screen, which shows the coordinates of nearby generated features. The server must run it, while players may leave it out. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the latest file, 2+mod for 26.3, dates from 2026-10-11. Builds cover 1.21.11 – 26.3 across six release versions, and the code is under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
