Samū's Foxes

Each fox type is tied to a biome family: some spawn only in snowy taiga, others in normal taiga or giant taiga, and the most common type dominates the snowy taiga biomes. A few rarer types and one platinum variant spawn in taiga but more often in snowy biomes, so the mix changes with the terrain a player explores. Spawn chances for a given type can be changed through a modified data pack.

The mod runs on both Fabric and Forge, and its files target 1.17 – 1.18.2 with builds for 1.17, 1.17.1, 1.18.1 and 1.18.2. Fabric API is recommended on Fabric even though the mod does not strictly require it, and Fabric Loader 0.13 or higher is needed for the Fabric build. Forge installs need Minecraft Forge at version 39.0.0 or newer. The environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod, and the source is open source under the Apache License 2.0.
