GUI Shop by Rickiewars
by rickiewars
GUI Shop by Rickiewars lets server owners create and manage GUI shops where players buy and sell items through an inventory screen.
What it does
Shops are built with commands and filled by dragging items into the shop inventory. Each shop item can be set to buy only, sell only, or both, with prices set separately for buying and selling. Selling an item back applies a configurable payout penalty. Shop items keep item components such as enchantments, custom names and custom model data. Commands let server owners add and remove shop items and open a shop for a specific player, and shops opened through commands can be linked to NPC mods.
The mod comes with its own built-in economy provider that supports multiple currencies and accounts, with commands to view, send, add and remove balances. Currencies can be configured with a prefix, suffix, decimal places and an icon. Other mods can use the Common Economy API, and the shop can integrate with other economy providers that implement it. LuckPerms permissions are supported. The mod is a server-side Fabric mod, released under the MIT License, and is open source. Files exist for Minecraft 1.21 – 26.3, with 2.1.0+26.3 as the latest Fabric file for 26.3. It requires Fabric API.

Buy and sell modes
Shop items can be set to buy only, sell only or both, and a single item or a stack can be bought in one action.

Use cases
Who it’s for: The mod suits server owners who want a shop screen for players and do not need a client install, since only the server runs it.
How it compares
Classic GUIShop is also server-side only and open source under the Apache License 2.0, with files for 1.20.1 – 26.3, so it covers a wider version span than this mod. Savs Common Economy is server-side only, open source under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, and published for 1.21.10 – 26.3, mainly as an economy layer rather than a shop screen. Donut Economy is server-side only under the MIT License and is not open source, with files for 1.21.1 – 26.2.
