RPGAttr
by Partonetrain
RPGAttr adds Minecraft attributes for RPG-style stats such as reach, step height and crit behavior, with settings for other mods' attributes.
What it does
The mod registers entity attributes so that other mods and datapacks can read and change stats like reach and step height. Its config offers a crit setting: vanilla falling crits can be kept, and the Zenith Attributes crit chance can be limited to melee hits only. Both default to the vanilla behavior, with the melee-only option off.
RPGAttr is built to work with Spell Engine, and its author notes that it is already compatible with that mod. It also supports item configs from Jewelry, Wizards, Archers and Paladins, and it adds gamerules for those attributes. Players on a server need the mod along with the same loader; the environment is client and server, so both sides install it.
The mod is published for Fabric and Quilt, with 2.4.0 as the latest Fabric file and 2.3.0 as the latest Quilt file, both for 1.20.1. It is open source under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, which places the code in the public domain, and its source code and issue tracker are public.
Key features
Reach and step height attributes
Registers entity attributes for reach and step height, so stats for these can be read and changed by other mods.
Vanilla falling crits setting
A config option controls whether vanilla falling crits are enabled, and it defaults to the vanilla behavior.
Melee-only crit chance
An option limits the Zenith Attributes crit chance to melee crits, while the default keeps the standard Zenith Attributes behavior.
Spell Engine and Jewelry configs
Item configs from Spell Engine and Jewelry can use the attributes this mod provides.
