Roughly Enough Characters adds pinyin search to the Fabric item and recipe screens, so Chinese players can type pinyin to find blocks and items.
What it does
The mod is a Fabric port of Enough Characters, a pinyin search add-on built for Chinese speakers. Once it is installed, the search fields in the inventory and in JEI accept pinyin input, so a player can type the reading of a Chinese item name and see matching results. The feature is switched on by default and can be used without changing any other setting.
Roughly Enough Characters is targeted at Chinese-speaking players who want pinyin lookup alongside JEI and Tom's Simple Storage Mod. It is published for Fabric only, for 1.18.1 and 1.18.2, and its latest file is 0.0.6+1.18.2fabric0.13.3 for 1.18.2, released on 2022-07-20 on the alpha channel. It needs only the client, so servers need nothing installed, and it is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, as open source.
