Rko's Afk Utils is a Fabric utility mod that keeps players from being kicked for inactivity on servers, and lets them wait in a chosen spot without being detected as away.
What it does
Servers often disconnect players who stay still for a set period. The mod counters this by letting a player type afktoggle in the chat bar, after which the character walks in one of four directions and the server cannot detect that the player is away. Typing afktoggle again and stopping movement returns the player to normal play.
Players can use it to wait somewhere safe, such as a quiet corner of a base, instead of standing in an exposed spot. The author notes that it is meant to stop the player from being killed while away, though the mod's effect on in-game dangers is not otherwise described. It is a client-side tool, released under the MIT License, and is not open source. Its files target 1.20.1 only, with the 0.1 build dated 2023-08-04.
