What it does

Three portal guns ship with the mod: a prime spatial model, one modeled on Rick, and an Evil Morty variant, and each behaves differently. The portal gun design follows the show's lore and enables spatial teleportation and interdimensional travel. Portal fluid refills the guns through a system modeled on the series, and the energy side uses FE. Sub-Ether and Super-Ether emitters can interfere with portal guns, adding a counter to their use.

Ether Ore, Sub-Ether Ore and Super-Ether Ore generate in the world, with Ether Ore spawning once per chunk between heights -64 and -16 and Super-Ether Ore spawning once per 16 chunks between -64 and -48. Portal animations are smooth, and chunk-loading logic keeps portals from causing lag. A configuration file exposes many parameters, so server owners can tune the mod and prevent overpowered gameplay.

Rick Technology runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge, covering 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and the code is licensed as All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

  3. Ether ores

A configuration file adjusts many parameters, which helps server owners keep the gameplay balanced.
