RestApi
by restonic4
RestApi is a library that lets one codebase target several Minecraft versions without rewriting its method calls for each release.
What it does
Developers can call the same functions on every supported version, so switching a project between versions does not require changing those calls. The library is written for mod developers and is open source under the MIT License. It covers Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt builds for 1.19 – 1.20.4, with Architectury API and Quilted Fabric API or Quilt Standard Libraries required.
Key features
Stable method signatures
Functions keep the same signatures across Minecraft releases, so one source file can compile against several versions.
Shared method calls
Developers write a call once and reuse it in each target version, instead of adapting it for every release.
Public source and wiki
The source code and a wiki page are linked from the project, so developers can read the implementation and usage notes.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
1.20.x4 of 4 versions with builds
1.19.x5 of 5 versions with builds
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
