Redstone Lectern
by cyan_lattice
Redstone Lectern is a Forge lectern variant whose page turns are driven by redstone pulses and a permanently attached 15 page book.
What it does
The block is a block entity, unlike the vanilla lectern, and it replaces the vanilla lectern in the recipe list while staying craftable from the same ingredients plus a book. The attached book shows its page number, and clicking the interface turns pages. A redstone pulse turns the page as well, so a lectern can be driven by pistons, observers or circuits without anyone opening it.
The page number is captured by the Pick Block action, so a copy of a lectern keeps the page it was set to. The mod is aimed at builds that need reliable page changes, such as page-based displays, switches and readouts. Its redstone handling is described as optimized, and the design takes inspiration from the Vanilla Tweaks Redstone Tweaks datapack, which the author thanks.
Key features
Redstone page turns
A pulse of redstone turns the page, so the block can be used in automated circuits and machines.
Permanently attached book
The 15 page book cannot be removed, and its visible page numbers are shown on the block for the player to read.
Click to turn pages
Players can turn pages with the interface by clicking, without any tools or additional items.
Pick Block keeps the page
Using Pick Block captures the current page number, so the copied block returns to the same page.

Use cases
Automated page displays
Pistons or observers can drive the page turn, so a lectern can step through a sequence of pages in a build.
Page-based switches
Each page number can represent a state, and a redstone signal moves the lectern to the next state.
Who it’s for: Builders and technology players who want a lectern that responds to redstone signals as a block entity. The mod is useful in worlds where automated page turns matter more than manual reading.
