What it does

Recipe Integration is a NeoForge mod that adds recipes for combinations of other mods, mostly crafting and processing recipes that connect them. It is a datapack packaged as a mod, so its recipes live in its data folder and can be changed with KubeJS or similar tools. Each recipe loads only when every mod it needs is installed; recipes for mods that are absent are skipped, which keeps the game free of broken or empty recipes.

The datapack covers more than 3,700 recipes and the list keeps growing. Supported mods include Ars Nouveau, Biomes O Plenty, Create, Farmer's Delight, Immersive Engineering and Mekanism, among others. The mod does not add items or functions of its own, so a server running it needs nothing else from players. A single file replaces the separate datapacks some modpacks used to ship. Released under a custom license, not open source, the mod targets 1.21 – 26.2 with the latest file for 26.2.

Key features

  1. Conditional recipe loading

Each recipe loads only when all the mods it depends on are present, so missing mods never leave broken entries.

  2. Datapack format

Recipes sit in the data folder as a standard datapack, so they can be edited or replaced by other datapack tools.

  3. Broad mod coverage

The recipe set spans many mods, from Create and Mekanism to Immersive Engineering and Farmer's Delight, with a supported-mods list in the author notes.

  4. Partial compatibility marks

Some supported mods are only partly covered, and the author lists which features are fully implemented.

Questions

Does Recipe Integration need other mods installed?

No. It has no required dependencies, and each recipe only loads when the mods it uses are present.

Does Recipe Integration have to be installed on the client?

It works on the server, and a player who joins without it can still play, since the mod is optional on the client side.

Can the recipes be changed after installation?

Yes. Recipes live in the data folder, so KubeJS or similar tools can edit them.
