RealityMod, by Foxirion, is a world generation mod that adds desert oasis content, revamped classic animals and new mobs to Forge and NeoForge worlds.
What it does
Foxirion describes RealityMod as an effort to enhance the game's biomes, mobs and mechanics with elements inspired by real life, while keeping the classic Minecraft feel. The mod is in beta and is undergoing a major overhaul that brings new textures, models and more realistic gameplay elements, so bugs and incomplete features should be expected.
Installation requires nothing beyond the mod itself, since no other mod is listed as a dependency. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge across four game versions, 1.20 – 1.21.1, under the MIT License, and the source code, issue tracker and wiki are public.

Oasis biome
A desert oasis holds its own flora and fauna, and desert turtles roam it as a source of valuable resources.
Revamped classic animals
Fennec foxes, penguins, grizzly bears and black bears return with updated models and textures.
Oasis clay and palms
Clay found in the oasis smelts into twice the terracotta or bricks of regular clay, and palm trees yield coconuts.
Fossil ores
Four fossil types hide valuable resources in the stone, deepslate and frozen nether.

Bears Update is limited to Forge and 1.19.2, so RealityMod covers more loaders and game versions.
