What it does

Real Money adds a wide collection of real-world banknotes and coins to the game, giving economy servers and worlds a cash layer. Players can carry, spend and trade these currencies, which supports player-driven marketplaces, banks and realistic city builds.

Both the server and every player need the mod, since it is a client and server mod with files published for Forge 1.20.1 only. The latest file is 1.2.0, released 2026-10-11, and the mod was first published on 2026-08-20. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Detailed banknotes

Banknotes are drawn in detail, adding visual variety to the currencies offered in the game.

  2. Real-world coins

Coins from several real currencies can be carried and traded alongside the banknotes.

  3. Dedicated creative tab

The mod's items are grouped in their own creative inventory tab, so they are simple to find and place.

  4. Clean textures

The banknotes and coins use clean textures meant to suit immersive trade setups.
