ReAirdrop Supply

by KalebLangley

ReAirdrop Supply adds airdrop boxes that drop onto the map at set intervals, and the loot inside each box is defined by data packs.

ForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.20.1 – 1.21.1

What it does

Airdrop boxes appear at random spots within a configurable spread distance from the player and disappear after a set despawn time. The spawn interval, despawn time, spread range and the weights that decide which box type is chosen are all set in the config. Each box type draws from its own loot table, so pack makers can change what each box holds without touching the code.

The loot tables are split into medic and ammo boxes, each at basic, medium and advanced tiers. The mod is aimed at mod pack creators who want to shape the economy of a survival world, and a simple example shows a basic medic box giving up to 4 apples and a basic ammo box giving 2 iron swords with a diamond sword as a possible result. Installation needs a Forge or NeoForge loader; no other mods are listed as required. The server and every player need the mod installed. Files cover 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with 1.2 as the latest Forge file for 1.20.1 and 1.1.2 as the latest NeoForge file for 1.21.1.

Key features

  1. Random airdrop placement

Boxes land within a spread distance set in the config, so their position is not fixed.

  2. Configurable timing

Spawn interval and despawn time are measured in ticks and can be tuned per server.

  3. Weighted box selection

Separate weights decide how often medic and ammo boxes appear, and how often each tier is chosen.

  4. Data-driven loot

Each of the six box types reads its own loot table, which pack makers can replace.
