Randombar
by Mocretion
Randombar switches the selected hotbar slot at random each time a block is placed, within slots 5 through 9.
What it does
After a block is placed, the client picks a hotbar slot between 5 and 9, both inclusive, and selects it. The mod is meant for adding detail to builds, since the block in hand changes without the player choosing it. Only the client needs it, so players join servers without installing anything extra.
Pressing the R key toggles random slot selection off, and pressing it again turns the behavior back on. The mod is released under the MIT License and is open source, with its source code and issue tracker public. Files are published for Fabric and Quilt for 1.20.1, and the latest build is 1.1.3 from 2023-07-02.
