What it does

The mod changes the pace of a normal survival world. Stone, logs and other basic materials drop infected versions instead of their usual items, and those have to be cleaned at a Disinfection Station before they become usable. Wet and dried planks come out of that process, and a Drying Station is needed to finish the planks.

Progression is extended with a set of obtain-first items. A player is warned before entering the Nether without the required item, and a separate item is needed before the End can be entered. Entering the Nether also grants access to crafting table placement. The author describes it as a long-form way to play Minecraft that keeps the original crafting idea going.

Rainy's Long long mod is a Fabric mod for 26.1.2 only. Client and server both need it, so servers must run it and players must install it too. It is released under the MIT License and is open source, with source code published.
