Raid On!
by Happy1speed
Raid On! changes how Minecraft raids play out on Fabric, with waves that grow stronger as the Bad Omen level rises.
What it does
Raid waves are scaled by the Bad Omen level. A higher level makes a raid longer and larger, adds more waves, and puts more raiders in each wave. The first waves start gently and build up, and after wave 10 raiders receive status effect buffs such as health boost and speed. Pillagers may spawn carrying random fireworks, witches throw lingering potions and attack faster, and illagers stop harming each other. Evokers that are killed take their vexes with them.
The mod adds quality-of-life items and ways to raise the Bad Omen level, such as bottles o' omen, so a raid can be started without a long search. A Prism Sight highlights raiders during a raid, and a Raid Rune shows the current wave count and the number of raiders still active. A config file lets server owners tune the balance, and the mod is built to keep lag low on weaker devices, since waves spawn many entities. Infinite raids are also available for players who want the challenge to continue.
Raid On! runs on the client and the server, so both need it. Files are published for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 under the MIT License, and the code is open source.
