Qa Village Extends
by LitQA
Qa Village Extends adds five villager professions, each with a practical work block, and a recycling system for worn equipment.
What it does
The mod extends the villager system with five new professions. Each profession comes with a work block that performs a practical function in the village economy, and the mod groups these blocks into one waste innovation system aimed at resource use in vanilla play. Because both sides run the mod, a server and every player who joins it need the same install.
Qa Village Extends is published for Forge and NeoForge, with builds covering 1.14.4 – 1.21.8 across 11 release versions. The latest Forge file is 2.0.3-alpha for 1.20.1, and the latest NeoForge file is 2.0.3-alpha for 1.21.8, both dated 2026-09-30 on the alpha channel. The code is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial 4.0 license, so the project is not open source.
Key features
Qa Sawmill
A work block that processes logs efficiently, breaking down logs and bamboo into planks with a 50% higher yield.
Qa Furnace Recycling
A recycling block that returns twice the mineral fragments of a vanilla furnace, so worn gear turns into usable material.
Recycling of crafted equipment
Items such as diamond chestplates, iron pickaxes, saddles, shears and chainmail armor can be broken down into their component materials.
Diamond pieces
The mod adds Diamond Pieces, a material that the recycling system recovers from equipment made of diamond.

Use cases
Recovering material from old gear
Players who would otherwise discard worn equipment can recover ingots, nuggets and fragments through the furnace recycler.
Running a village economy
Server owners can assign the new professions and work blocks to villagers to build a trade and crafting loop around each village.
Who it’s for: Players who run survival worlds or multiplayer servers with villagers and want more professions and resource recovery. Both the server and every player need the mod, so the install is shared across the group.
