With Quartz Elevator installed, a player standing on a quartz block can travel straight up or down to another elevator at the same horizontal position.

What it does

The mod adds two placeable blocks, Quartz Elevator and Smooth Quartz Elevator. Players move between elevators that share the same x and z coordinates: jump to go up, crouch to go down. Fabric API is required, and the mod also bundles Cloth Config API. Mod Menu is optional. Both the server and every player need the mod, and the code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Vertical travel between blocks

    A player can ride from one elevator to the next elevator above or below it in the same column.

  2. Jump to ascend

    Pressing jump while standing on an elevator moves the player upward to the next elevator in the column.

  3. Crouch to descend

    Crouching on an elevator moves the player downward to the next elevator in the column.
