qCraft Reimagined
by spadeteam
qCraft Reimagined brings quantum-physics ideas into Minecraft through blocks, machines and computers that change how the world behaves.
What it does
Blocks in qCraft Reimagined change state depending on which face a player observes, and practical redstone randomness is built into the design. Machines carry out quantum observations on their own, and computers can swap entire regions of the world. The mod is a reimagining of an earlier qCraft release, and its development had been dormant for many years before this version.
The mod targets Fabric and Quilt for 1.18.2 and 1.19, with the latest file, 1.2.0 for 1.19, dated 2022-06-21. Fabric API is required on both loaders. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The MIT License covers the code, which is open source, and public source code, an issue tracker and a wiki are available for in-depth feature explanations and tutorials.
Key features
Observation-driven blocks
Blocks alter their state based on the face that a player looks at, creating an observer-dependent behavior.
Automated quantum machines
Machines perform quantum observations without manual input once they are set up.
Region-swapping computers
Computers exchange whole regions of the world, which allows large-scale rearrangement of terrain and structures.
Redstone randomness
Randomness is built into redstone circuits, giving builders a practical source of unpredictable signals.
