More Visuals
by Henry_Prime
Players who want clearer fights on Fabric 1.16.5 can add More Visuals, a client-side collection of combat HUD overlays and tools.
What it does
The mod adds a Hit Sound that plays an anvil experience sound when the player lands a hit on an opponent, and an Armor Durability display that shows the status of worn armor and the held weapon. A Potion HUD lists active status effects in a tidy column, and a Low Fire option lowers the fire overlay so burning does not block the view during close combat.
Visual Day locks the in-game time to a bright noon, keeping visibility steady at any hour. Chat Binds lets a player set custom keys that send commands or messages to chat, and an on-screen display shows WASD and mouse clicks. Sprinting is automated so the fingers stay free for movement and combat.
The mod runs only on the client, so a server does not need it and players join without installing it. Fabric API is required. Files are published for Fabric 1.16.5 only, with 1.1.0 as the latest file, and the code is released under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, which is not open source.
