Pomkots World (Lost Cities add-on)
by grc_mcs
Pomkots World is a Forge world generation add-on for The Lost Cities that produces heavily decayed, sci-fi flavored post-apocalyptic cities.
What it does
Pomkots World works as an add-on to The Lost Cities, which is required, and generates urban areas with a sci-fi, post-apocalyptic character. The cities are heavily decayed, and the author describes the build as a super alpha, so the structures and their contents are expected to change between updates. Many of the structures are still fairly empty inside, especially the interiors, and the author plans to keep adding ruined structures in later updates. A new world with a fresh configuration is recommended for testing.
The mod is installed on Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1 only, and it runs on the server side alone, so players join without installing it. The latest file is 0.0.1-alpha.1 for 1.20.1, published on 2025-07-28 on the alpha channel, and the code is not open source, with All rights reserved applying. Public links exist for the source code and the issue tracker, and the author welcomes people who want to submit their own ruins for the project.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players who want a decayed, sci-fi city setting on a Forge 1.20.1 world and are willing to accept an alpha build that changes often. Server owners who run The Lost Cities can add it as a server-side generator.
How it compares
Lost Worlds LC is open source under the MIT License and also targets Forge 1.20.1, running as client and server. The Lost City and Naturalist Lite is a Forge 1.20.1 add-on that also needs both sides and is under All rights reserved. Pomkots World differs by being server-side only and by its alpha status.
