Pomelo's Shop
by youziqwq539
Pomelo's Shop lets players buy and sell items in a graphical shop backed by a built-in currency, and the changes sync to online players.
What it does
Shops are browsed through a graphical interface where items are grouped into categories, including parent and child categories. Each player keeps a persistent money balance, and the shop can be opened quickly with the N key, which can be rebound in the controls settings. Trading between players is part of the shop, since sellers set the terms of what they offer.
Admins decide which items are banned from the shop and can create, rename, delete and manage categories by right-clicking them. Actions that change the shop are limited to admin privileges through configurable permissions, so server owners control who edits the catalog. Copying an item's properties, including its price and stock, with Ctrl+C and pasting it into the current category with Ctrl+V speeds up building a shop.
The mod is published for Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and it runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it installed. The code is open source under the MIT License.

Use cases
Server economies
Server owners can run a shared market where players trade goods with each other and with the shop.
Category-based catalogs
Shops can be organized into nested categories, which suits larger catalogs with many item types.
Who it’s for: Server owners and admins who want a managed item market, and players who trade goods with the currency built into the mod.
How it compares
Create: Currency Shops is open source under the MIT License, is published for Forge and NeoForge across 1.20.1 – 1.21.1, and runs on client and server. M Economy is for Forge and NeoForge across 1.20.1 – 1.21.4, runs on client and server, and is not open source. Pomelo's Shop covers 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 on Forge and NeoForge, so it has a narrower version range than M Economy.
