What it does

Plushies Mod places little toy plushies into the game as decorative blocks. Each plushie comes in several variations, and players can change a plushie's variant by using a wooden stick on it. The mod is still in development, and the author notes that some plushies have unfinished textures and that a few bugs remain, so its recipes are being added gradually and survival gameplay is not yet intended. Creative mode is the practical way to collect the content for now.

The mod is built for Forge on Minecraft 1.20.1 only. Because it is client-side only, players install it on their own game and servers need nothing extra. The license is All rights reserved, which means the mod is not open source, and the author asks anyone who uses it in a modpack or other content to give credit. Ports to Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt are mentioned as planned, but the author states they will not be ported to other loaders beyond Forge at this time.

Key features

  1. Over fifty plushies

The mod includes more than fifty plushies counting their variations, many of them based on original characters.

  2. Variant switching

A wooden stick changes a plushie to its next variant, so one block can appear in several looks.

  3. Creative tab content

Plushies are sorted into creative tabs, and the author says more plushies are planned for future updates.

  4. Original characters

The plushies feature a main cast of original characters, with some plushies deliberately playing up a menacing look.
