Player Title
by Panyel
Player Title lets players show a custom title above their name tag, set through a playertitle command for Fabric servers.
What it does
Each player can carry a title that appears beneath their username. Titles are set with a playertitle command, for example a line such as Panyel News Reporter. The author made the mod for a private survival server called Elarion, and it was built to coexist with nickname mods without conflicts. Because the environment is client and server, both the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.21 and 1.21.1, with 1.0.0 for 1.21 as the latest file. The code is not open source; it is released under All rights reserved.
Key features
Titles under usernames
A title is drawn under the player's username, so others can read it without opening any menu.
Command-based titles
A playertitle command sets the text, letting players and admins change titles during play.
Nickname mod compatibility
The mod coexists with most nickname mods, and conflicts with them are uncommon.

What the author says
This is a mod I made for my own SMP: World of Elarion. It is fairly easy to use and doesn't cause conflicts with most nickname mods. /playertitle (PlayerName) title - eg.: /playertitle Panyel News Reporter
