Playable Fantasy Races lets each player pick a fantasy race in place of the default human character, with a command to switch later.

What it does

Playable Fantasy Races adds playable fantasy races to Minecraft. A new player starts as a human, the default character, and can change race with the fantasyraces changerace command. The mod changes the player model and includes animations, so it can conflict with other mods that alter the player. Its known compatibility issues are listed by the author. The mod runs on client and server, so every player and the server need it. Builds exist for 1.12.2 and 1.16.5, with 1.3.1 for 1.12.2 as the latest Forge file, under All rights reserved and not open source.
