PixelSeasons
PixelSeasons is a Forge addon for Pixelmon on Minecraft 1.12.2 that changes which Pixelmon spawn in each season and subseason.
What it does
The mod adds three spawn conditions that Pixelmon can read from its external spawn files: seasons, subSeasons and tropicalSeasons. Each condition is filled with valid Season, SubSeason or Tropical Season values, so a spawn can be limited to a given period of the year. Option names are case insensitive, so a value entered in a different letter case still works.
The spawn files are customized to fit the goal a server owner has in mind. An example from the author notes is Entei, which only spawns between early and mid Summer. The changes take effect through Pixelmon's own external spawn files, so PixelSeasons does not replace Pixelmon's spawning code.
PixelSeasons is server-side only, so players join without installing it. It is published for Forge only, as a single build for 1.12.2. The addon requires Pixelmon on the same 1.12.2 version, and the author notes say the required mods must be checked before startup. The project is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.
