Phantom Pillows adds a Phantom Pillow block that cushions falls and elytra collisions for entities that land on it.

What it does

A bouncy block, the Phantom Pillow, is made by surrounding one wool block with eight phantom membranes. Once the mod is installed, the block appears in the creative and survival item lists. Entities that land on it bounce instead of taking fall damage, and elytra collisions with the block no longer hurt the flier. A phantompillows:elytra cushioning blocks tag lets other blocks be added to the same behavior.

Phantom Pillows runs on Fabric and requires Fabric API. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Its source code and issue tracker are public, and the code is under the MIT License.

    The block stops fall damage by bouncing entities back up instead of letting them land hard.

  2. Elytra collision cushioning

    Flying players who strike the block with an elytra take no collision damage from the impact.

  3. Extendable cushioning tag

    A block tag lets other blocks share the cushioning behavior without a code change.
