Persona
by Landfall SMP
Persona lets each player on a NeoForge server keep several characters, each with its own display name, and switch between them during play.
What it does
Persona gives every player a configurable number of characters, each stored with its own display name. Character names are kept in a single registry for the whole server, so no two characters can share a name. A character can be switched to at any time from the in-game interface, and the active one is listed in green while deceased characters appear with a red skull icon.
Characters age in real time at a ratio set in the config, measured as real days per game year. A character can be marked deceased, which keeps its data without removing it. Creation, deletion and management are handled through a graphical interface, and server owners can cap the characters per player, enable or disable deletion, and set how names are validated.
Persona is published for NeoForge 1.21 – 1.21.10, with the latest build 1.0-pre6 for 1.21.10. It is released under the MIT License but is not open source. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Figura is a required dependency and must be installed alongside it.

Use cases
Roleplay servers
Roleplay communities can give each player separate identities for different storylines, with names kept unique across the server.
Long-running survival worlds
Characters that age in real time suit worlds where a player wants to start a new life while keeping the old one's records.
Who it’s for: Server owners running roleplay or social servers who want players to hold more than one identity, and players on those servers who want to switch between characters.
