Penguins and Rangers
Penguins and Rangers, a Forge mod for 1.20.1 with Geckolib required, adds penguin mobs and a Power Rangers style transformation system with morphers, weapons and items.
What it does
Players can collect penguins from several species that appear in the Minecraft world. Right clicking an Adelie Penguin gives a Penguin Feather, which is combined with diamond and iron ingots to craft PenguinSteel. PenguinSteel is used to craft armor that adds extra strength, speed and water movement. Ingredients for the main items are tied to the Morphing Grid from another mod, and some recipes use Energy, Dino Fossil Energy, which is mainly used by the Mighty Morphin content and is found like other ore. The author recommends Enough Items (JEI) for looking up the many crafting recipes.
Transformation works through a morpher. Red, Blue and Black rangers are available in survival, while further rangers are limited to creative, and a Mega Mode covers the Red ranger only in creative. Ten themed weapons are added, including swords, lances, axes, daggers and a bow. The Gokai Saber can only be found in a destroyed Gokai Galleon. Putty Patrollers spawn at night and drop clay, and a Dragon Zord boss with 1000 health drops a Dragon Power Coin when it is summoned with a dragon flute.
The mod requires Geckolib 1.19.2 or later, and the main items depend on Geckolib being installed. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Builds are published for Forge only, for 1.19.2 and 1.20.1, with 1.7.0 for 1.20.1 as the latest file, under All rights reserved.
