Pedestals - Display your items!
With Pedestals installed, players craft pedestal blocks from stone, wood and copper and set items on top to show them off in a room or hall.
What it does
Pedestals adds decorative blocks that hold one item each. The pedestals come in many materials, including rock, log and copper types, so a display can match a medieval hall, an arcane study or an industrial base. Copper pedestals oxidize over time like vanilla copper, and a wax coating keeps them shiny after crafting.
Later updates added stripped wood pedestals, Nether wood pedestals, smooth sandstone and smooth red sandstone pedestals, and on the 1.21.4 port, pale oak and resin brick pedestals. Pedestals also carry a redstone signal when they hold an item, so a display can feed comparators or other automation. Observer triggers are planned for a future update. The mod is published for Fabric only, for game versions 1.21 – 1.21.11, and it runs on client and server. Its files are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. On the 1.21.4 port, Nemo's Woodcutter adds woodcutting recipes as an optional compatibility, and no other mod is required.
