PearlCalc
by JakeTheMan
PearlCalc shows where a thrown Ender Pearl will land and how much damage the throw would deal before the player releases it.
What it does
Before a pearl leaves the hand, PearlCalc draws its flight path in real time, so the landing point is visible while the player aims. Alongside the path it displays the damage a landing would cause, updating as the aim changes. A landing on water, a slime block or vines is reported as zero damage, which lets a player plan a safe teleport or a precise throw without testing it first.
The preview adjusts when the player wears boots with Feather Falling, since the enchantment changes the fall damage taken after a landing. The mod is a client-side Fabric mod, so it runs on a single-player world or a client joined to a server, and a server does not need to install anything for it to work. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.21.1 and 1.21.2, with 1.0.0 for 1.21.2 as the latest build, under All rights reserved.
PearlCalc is not open source. Its author is JakeTheMan, and the first build was published on 2026-02-19 with the last update on 2026-02-22.
Key features
Live trajectory path
The flight path of a held Ender Pearl is drawn before the throw, so the landing spot can be read ahead of time.
Landing damage preview
The damage a landing would cause is shown next to the path and recalculated instantly as the aim changes.
Safe landing detection
Landings on water, slime blocks and vines are marked as zero damage, which marks the spots where a pearl is safe to throw.
Feather Falling adjustment
When Feather Falling boots are worn, the damage preview is recalculated to match the reduced fall damage.
