Paucal is a library mod by petrakat that provides backend utilities, a contributor registry with a query API, and a headpatting action between players.
What it does
The library supplies a set of backend utilities for other mods, and it keeps a central list of the people who contributed to the author's mods, which other mods can read through an API. Paucal requires Cloth Config API, and it is used as a dependency by six catalog mods, among them Hex Casting, Hexal, MoreIotas, Mediaworks and HexCast NEOFORGED. Files exist for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, covering 1.18.2 – 1.21.1. The server and every player need the mod installed. The code is open source under the MIT License.
