PaperFixes applies a set of bug and performance fixes taken from the CraftBukkit, Spigot and Paper server projects to Forge 1.12.2.

What it does

The fixes target known vanilla issues: entities that are dead or untargetable are excluded from explosion calculations, biome weight handling is limited to avoid terrain spikes, and empty subchunks are sent to clients so they render correctly. Several fixes are tagged with Mojang bug tracker numbers such as MC-54738, MC-80966, MC-98153 and MC-133373.

Other changes reduce memory use and lag: the player packet queue is cleared on disconnect, NaN attribute values are reset, and full item stacks skip a merging check before the bounding box test. Prevention of rubber-banding and suffocation in nether portals is also included. PaperFixes requires ConfigAnytime and MixinBooter, and it is published only for Forge 1.12.2, with the 2.0.1 file dated 2025-10-11.

Either side can run PaperFixes, and neither needs it. The license is a custom license, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
