PackagingProvider
PackagingProvider is a Forge addon for 1.12.2 that adds a Packaging Provider block for Applied Energistics 2 systems.
What it does
The block lets an Applied Energistics 2 network hand packages to Packager and Unpackager machines, so automated systems can skip the separate packaging and unpackaging steps. The addon is a backport of the Packaging Provider block from PackagedAuto, which is itself required, and its source code is public under the MIT License, which makes it open source.
Applied Energistics 2, MixinBooter and PackagedAuto must all be installed for the addon to load. MixinBooter is needed because it applies the changes the mod relies on. The server and every player need the mod installed. Builds exist for 1.12.2 only, with 1.0.0.2 as the latest Forge file, published 2025-12-13 on the beta channel.
