OnTime
by MateoF024
OnTime lets server owners and map makers build custom timers that show on screen and run commands when they start, pause and end.
What it does
Each timer is created once with a name, a duration and a display position, then started from a command or the in-game panel. A timer can count down or count up, and it can be shown in the boss bar, the action bar, above the hotbar or anywhere on the screen by dragging it into place. Round timers are shared by the whole server, while personal timers give each player their own clock.
A timer can start when the world starts or when an event happens, such as a player dying, reaching a dimension, earning an advancement, hitting a score or completing a quest. Commands can run at chosen points along the way, with a pause before the next step, and a selector such as a[team=red] limits who sees a timer. The mod suits minigames, events, modpacks and automated server tasks. Fabric API is required on Fabric, and the mod is released under the MIT License as open source.
Installed quest and map integrations are picked up automatically, and they are ignored when absent. Everything the mod does can be set through commands, the in-game browser or the wiki, which also documents the API and the WebSocket feed used for integrations. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and for 26.2 the latest Fabric and NeoForge builds are version 5.0.0.
Key features
Custom timers
Countdowns and count-ups can be created with a name, a duration, colours and a set of end actions.
Round and personal clocks
A round timer is watched by the whole server, while each player can run a personal clock that counts separately.
On-screen placement
Timers appear in the boss bar, the action bar, above the hotbar or anywhere else on the screen.
Event triggers
A timer can begin or end when a player is defeated, enters another dimension, gains an achievement or reaches a score target.
