OneLayer lets a world be generated as a flat superflat layer while still keeping biomes and structures, so survival and adventure play can run on it.
What it does
The mod turns world generation into a single flat layer that still carries biomes and structures, unlike a plain superflat world. Players can recreate a superflat world and still play the full adventure inside it. Generation behaviors are adjusted through a common config file in the config folder, which can be edited in-game to suit an adventure server or modpack.
The generation type is chosen as One Layer when a new world is created. The author recommends setting a parameter in server.properties before the world is created, and testing it beforehand. OneLayer is server-side only, so players join without installing it. It is published for Forge and NeoForge across the 1.20 – 26.3 range, with the latest Forge file at 0.6.1 for 1.20.1 and the latest NeoForge file at 0.7.3 for 26.3. The code is not open source and is covered by All rights reserved.
