oneaura's Cart Optimizer changes how minecarts are handled on the client, so a cart removed from the world no longer lingers as a ghost.

What it does

When a player places a minecart, the mod removes the item from the client side at once, so the cart does not stay on screen in the hotbar after it has been placed. Only the client needs it, and the server runs without it. It requires Fabric API and is published for Fabric across 12 release versions, under the MIT License, as open source.
