One Enough Enchantment
by MerrySnow
One Enough Enchantment lets a server owner change the spawn weight of any enchantment, including setting it to zero to remove it from the game.
What it does
Vanilla enchantments carry a weight that sets how often they appear, and since 1.21 that weight is data-driven rather than one of four fixed rarity tiers. The mod exposes it through an in-game command and a configuration file, so a server can raise the chance of Knockback or drop Sharpness entirely. Enchantments whose weight is set to 0 stop appearing in loot and enchanting tables, and their anvil recipes and enchanted books are removed as well. Enchantments not named in the rules keep their default weights.
Changing a weight is reversible: setting it back restores the enchantment. Enchantments at weight 0 can still be applied with commands, and their data stays in item NBT even though they are no longer parsed. The mod also integrates with KubeJS, so weights can be adjusted from scripts and combined with game stages. Forge and NeoForge are the supported loaders, and the mod is installed on the server side only, so players join without it.
Released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, the source code is open and available with a public issue tracker. Files cover 15 release versions, 1.18 – 1.21.1, with the latest Forge file for 1.20.6 and the latest NeoForge file for 1.21.1.
Key features
Per-enchantment weights
Each enchantment's spawn weight can be set in the game or in a configuration file, with rules listed as name=value pairs.
Full removal at weight 0
An enchantment set to 0 disappears from loot, enchanting, anvil recipes and enchanted books, while the rest of the game stays unchanged.
Configurable options
Options such as dropRecipe and deepDelete control which parts of the removal apply, and any of them can be disabled to keep some functionality.
JEI and KubeJS support
Recipes for weight 0 enchantments are removed from JEI, and KubeJS events can change weights dynamically together with game stages.

What the author says
This mod allows you to dynamically control the weight of enchantments or even completely remove enchantments from the game. In short, weight determines the frequency of enchantment appearance. In vanilla Minecraft, weight is controlled by four fixed rarities: COMMON (weight 10), UNCOMMON (5), RARE (2), and VERY\_RARE…
